Ford hoped to keep the Mustang-inspired electric crossover it announced over a year ago under wraps until its official debut on November 17, but a leak has fully revealed the model ahead of time. Named Mustang Mach E, the four-door people-mover will compete in the same segment as the upcoming Tesla Model Y when it begins arriving in showrooms. Ford has dabbled in EVs before; it sold a battery-powered Focus in many markets, and it experimented with an electric Ranger pickup during the 1990s, but these were low-volume vehicles based on existing, gasoline-powered models. The Mustang Mach E was developed with electric driving in mind from the get-go, and it shows. What is it? Previous Next 1 of 8 It’s important to make the distinction between Mustang-inspired and Mustang-based. Despite having “Mustang” in the name, there’s no evidence suggesting the Mustang Mach-E cars will share any major components with the actual Mustang. Ford’s … [Read more...] about Check out the electric Ford Mustang Mach E before you’re supposed to see it

“Philly” Will Parks’ roots continue to define versatile Broncos defensive back in a contract year
Will Parks‘ teammates call him “Philly”, a nickname that’s both a reflection of where he’s from and how his old neighborhood of Germantown in north Philadelphia continues to shape the Broncos defensive back today. On Sunday in Houston, Parks will wear cleats promoting Philadelphia CeaseFire as part of the NFL’s “My Cause My Cleats” initiative. For the fourth-year pro, the skyrocketing gun violence in Philadelphia — the city had 353 homicides in 2018, the most in more than a decade, and is on pace to surpass that in 2019 — is raw and personal. It’s personal for Parks, whose focus and work ethic enabled him to rise above the distractions that came with being a star football player at Germantown High School. And he believes he now needs to use his platform — shoes and all — to help spark change. “It was definitely hard to stay focused in Philly growing up, especially playing football and always being a … [Read more...] about “Philly” Will Parks’ roots continue to define versatile Broncos defensive back in a contract year
Ford Mustang Drag Races Bowler Bulldog In 5.0-liter V8 Fight
In a race of V8s we're all winners. The Bowler Bulldog and Ford Mustang couldn’t be more different besides the fact that their V8s share a similar 5.0-liters of displacement. This unique connection is more than enough to justify a friend drag race to see which vehicle can claim 5.0-liter V8 supremacy. The first challenger in this mismatched drag race is the 2020 Ford Mustang GT. The Mustang’s 5.0-liter V8 produces 450 horsepower thanks to its clever dual injection system that uses both port and direct injection to feed this hungry V8. The latest generation Coyote V8 in the Mustang is a revy masterpiece that screams to its 7,500 rpm redline. The Mustangs naturally aspirated V8 has all the responsiveness and character missing from modern turbocharged engines. Decisions, decisions: Amid struggling season, Broncos must look forward on which free agents to re-sign
Broncos general manager John Elway didn’t have to spend much time or money re-signing his players during the past three offseasons. Of the team’s 22 draft choices in the 2013-15 classes, only tight end Jeff Heuerman received a second contract from the team, a sign of the Broncos’ poor job of selecting talent. But this offseason will be different. Six members of the 2016 draft class remain with the team. Fullback Andy Janovich signed his new contract (three years) last month. That leaves decisions on five players coming off their rookie deals — safety Justin Simmons, safety Will Parks, defensive end Adam Gotsis, running back Devontae Booker and center Connor McGovern — plus veteran free agents Chris Harris (cornerback) and Derek Wolfe and Shelby Harris (defensive end).Because the Broncos are 3-7 and all but out of playoff consideration, the time to look ahead has already arrived. Here is a look at those eight free agents and whether their return should … [Read more...] about Decisions, decisions: Amid struggling season, Broncos must look forward on which free agents to re-sign

Who needs Jiffy Lube? Here’s how to change the oil in your car yourself
Additional how-to guides How to rotate your tires How to change a car battery How to fix a flat tire How to jump-start a car If your car was like your body, engine oil is as important as blood. You don’t want to think about what would happen if you suddenly had none. Without engine oil, none of the internal parts would be properly lubricated for long-term function, which is what enables most cars these days to travel hundreds of thousands of miles without a major problem. Engines house a considerable amount of oil that sits in a sump (or in a separate feeding tank in a dry sump case). It’s then pumped throughout the engine to lubricate everything from the crankshaft to the valvetrain. Because engine oil is a crucial fluid, it’s important to make sure it’s kept fresh and replaced at the intervals recommended by the manufacturer. Through constant use and time, oil degrades and gets dirty and loses some of its ability to keep things slick. Generally … [Read more...] about Who needs Jiffy Lube?
