Crash test on kia soul

If you put every standard-issue crossover on the market right now into a blender, you’d have a broken blender. But if you did it figuratively, you’d end up with something like the 2018 Kia Sportage SX. It’s simple, welcoming and just fancy enough to make you feel good. Just don’t expect it to be outstanding in every way. (Full disclosure: Kia had a Sportage SX dropped off at my apartment with a full tank of gas for me do use for a week. This was last year, before I was dealing with some medical issues, so that’s why it’s a 2018. Still, enjoy.) The fact that Kia is building a large seven/eight-seater SUV is about as surprising as discovering that the Twinkie you’ve just bitten into contains an interior chamber, filled with a white, sweet, creamery substance. It’s a move so safe that I’d tell it my bank card PIN, if it asked. People will buy these, because, it seems, that’s all they want to buy anymore. Happily, Kia’s jump on this particular bandwagon is a jump well executed. I can say this because not only did I take the 2020 Kia Telluride on a little road trip, but I slept in it overnight, too, because that’s how you really get to know a car. MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Gov. Tim Walz announced Thursday night that three Army National Guard soldiers were killed in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crash in Stearns County. Minnesota National Guard officials say say the aircraft’s three-member crew lost contact with air traffic controllers at St. Cloud Army Aviation Facility at about 2:05 p.m. The crew was conducting a maintenance test flight. A mayday call was put out, leading to the activation of the Minnesota Aviation Rescue Team (MART), which includes the assistance of St. Paul firefighters and a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter, which found the Black Hawk about 90 minutes after it went missing. (CNN)Kylie Rae Harris, a rising country star who died in a car wreck in September, was drunk and speeding at the time of the crash that killed her and a teenage driver in New Mexico, police said. The singer had a blood alcohol level that was more than three times the legal limit and was driving 102 mph when her vehicle collided with two other cars on September 4, the Taos County Sheriff's Office said in a news release, citing an investigation. Harris was driving while impaired on a highway when her vehicle struck another car, according to the statement. Harris' vehicle then crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and struck a second car, killing 16-year-old Maria Cruz, police said. A New Mexico volunteer fire chief who responded to Wednesday night's fatal crash that killed country singer Kylie Rae Harris learned to his horror that his own 16-year-old daughter also died in the accident, according to a report. The teen, Maria Elena Cruz, had been driving home from work when Harris made contact with the back of a pickup truck and veered into oncoming traffic, hitting Cruz's vehicle head-on, police said.
