Tesla’s founder Elon Musk recently made an appearance on comedian Joe Rogan’s popular podcast, “Joe Rogan Experience.” During the podcast interview, Rogan asks Musk about his 1961 Jaguar E-Type, the Boring company and...shares a smoke with Musk. Around the two-hour and 10-minute mark, Rogan pulls out a blunt, a mixture of marijuana and tobacco inside of a cigar wrapper, to show off a decorative holder.Shortly after Rogan lights the blunt, Musk asks “So is that a joint? Or is that a cigar?” Rogan further explains the legal-in-California creation, before Musk reaches for the marijuana stuffed cigar and takes a drag.Musk, seemingly referencing former president Bill Clinton, went to Twitter to say that to say, “remember, I did not inhale.” Green Cars Elon Musk backpedals on taking Tesla private Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reversed course on a plan to turn Tesla back into a private company via a significant … [Read more...] about So Elon Musk smokes weed with Joe Rogan; what does it mean for Tesla?

At the intersection of rugged and practical is the Toyota FJ. When war erupted in Korea, the US Army asked Toyota to build Jeeps since it would be easier than shipping them from the U.S. After improving the design, the Land Cruiser would evolve into a prolific 4WD. It is still in production, but it has evolved in a giant luxury SUV. That is why “CruiserHeads” prefer to restore classic examples like the FJ80 (1990-2008). To realize its full potential, ICON has unveiled Joe Rogan’s 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser. The straight six engine struggled to accelerate because of full-time 4WD. Mr. Rogan chose the Chevrolet LSA V8, the beating heart of the Camaro ZL1 and Cadillac CTS-V. It was treated to a few upgrades to make 560 horsepower and 580 lb-ft of torque. It is backed by a 4L85 transmission, the only 4-speed automatic capable of handling such power. The stock transfer case sends power to the stock axles because Toyota really built them to last. After adding ARB lockers … [Read more...] about ICON Unveils Joe Rogan’s 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser
Tesla CEO Elon Musk is trending on Twitter again, this time for smoking a blunt. The billionaire entrepreneur appeared to smoke marijuana toward the end of a more than two-and-half-hour live interview Thursday on comedian Joe Rogan's podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience. The conversation touched on everything from flamethrowers to electric cars to artificial intelligence."I think I tried one once," said Musk, when asked if he had ever smoked a mix of weed and tobacco. "I mean, it's legal right?" Musk then took a single puff from an offered joint, which Rogan said contained marijuana and tobacco. The interview was filmed in Los Angeles, where marijuana is legal under state law. It's unusual for a CEO of a public company to smoke weed on camera, but this is just the latest instance of atypical CEO behavior. In July, Musk tweeted that a British diver who helped with the rescue of a Thai soccer team trapped in a cave was a "pedo guy." His original tweet was deleted, but Musk has … [Read more...] about Elon Musk smokes weed, talks flamethrowers on Joe Rogan podcast
“You must understand there’s not a whole lot of humans like you. You know that, right?” So says Joe Rogan near the top of his two and a half hour podcast interview with Elon Musk, the Tesla CEO who now counts himself the latest among a litany of Rogan guests that includes Infowars’ Alex Jones, “alien mode” Tom DeLonge, and Jordan “Enforced Monogamy” Peterson. No, there is assuredly not a lot of people like Musk, whose ingenuity is matched only by his capacity for being a gigantic asshole. There’s the union-busting, the history of GOP donations, the farting unicorn mug, the support of a sex cult’s shoddy journalism, the shadow he’s cast over Grimes, that whole incident where he continually called a heroic rescue diver a “pedophile,” and, of course, whatever the hell was going on with Azealia Banks. This being Joe Rogan, however, nearly none of this is discussed. Instead, Rogan decided to get Musk, a very … [Read more...] about Elon Musk smokes blunt, wields samurai sword during batshit interview with Joe Rogan
2018 was a year that played host to some truly terrible Kanye West collaborations, very few of which had anything to do with actual music. Kanye & Mark Zuckerberg, Kanye & Rick & Morty, Kanye & Donald Trump, and most especially Kanye & Twitter itself; all produced some combination of eye-rolling, deep frustration, and outright despair. But don’t worry, Ye fans: It’s not getting better any time soon. In a move we have to see as actually sort of admirable—in so far as it set a baseline warning for admirers that 2019 will not, in fact, be any easier as a year in which to hold on to your lingering affection for Kanye West—the rapper, producer, and obstinate hat model has announced that he’ll soon be appearing on an episode of Joe Rogan’s massively popular podcast, presumably as some sort of existential “hold my beer” to sword-wielding blunt smoker Elon Musk. One of the major appeals of The Joe Rogan Experience, after all, … [Read more...] about Kanye West threatens planet with Joe Rogan podcast appearance
